Just to update: Phone again shut off at 34% today. I charged it back up to 8% and at 8% it has lasted for around 2 hours (battery is currently at 4% after 2 hours) Cannot figure out why it keeps shutting off at 34%.

Hi - hope someone can help! I have a Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) that's been causing me some problems. For the past while, the battery has been draining really fast. When the battery gets to around 35% it immediately drops to 15% and then in the next couple seconds, the phone just switches off...
