Yes, it is indeed the sad story of this device. I bought my g2x contract-free in April directly from T-mobile. Thought I was making the best purchase with its dual-core capability, quadband HSPA+ spectrum and full-hd recording... it was the biggest mistake: 1. T-mobile had falsely advertised...
