[Closed] Win 1 of 12 limited-edition Android M statue figurines!!!

Biggest thing on my list right now would be having better control over permissions (and more apps that will support this). It would be nice to stop the assumptions and nonsense that people have regarding an app just because it "uses the microphone" or "uses the camera" as if it's embedded into...

[Closed] Win one of two Nexus 5 devices from Android Central!

Just a random voice in a large crowd. I'm considering myself entered! Good luck to everybody, and may the most luckiest of us win. ;o

Android 4.3 screwed up the N10.

"No Command" usually means that you've got a custom recovery installed or a custom kernel that has modified some system files. As still1 said, just press volume down and the power button; it'll restart into 4.2.2. If you have any issues with 4.3, I would recommend wiping it and starting fresh...

What Happens to a Rooted Nexus 10 When Jelly Bean 4.3 Comes Out??

Yeah, it normally will - even if you're rooted. In my case, I was using a custom kernel (Franco Kernel); which happens to modify some system files. In order for the OTA update to function properly, I had to flash the stock system files and recovery (which wasn't affected, but just wanted to be...

What Happens to a Rooted Nexus 10 When Jelly Bean 4.3 Comes Out??

This isn't entirely true. I'm on Franco's Kernel, Rooted, Unlocked. Woke up - lo' and behold, 4.3 system update. However, I haven't flashed the stock 4.2.2 kernel yet; so, I know if I installed the updates, I'd soft-brick my N10. =p

    Nexus 10 won't turn on.

This had happened to me a few times now. However, I'm on the same Nexus 10 that I bought initially (back in December). The only solution I've been able to find is to use my Nexus 4 charger for an hour, then boot into the bootloader menu (then choose to start). Chances are, it hasn't enough power...

    Curious about International use

I know this is usually a dead-zone idea; but I'd rather be certain than not. I'm torn between waiting for the "unlocked" S4 (Nexus style), HTC One, or ATT S4. The only problem is that I'm going to be moving to the United Kingdom within the next year, and am curious if I were to get an ATT model...

    Optimized apps.

For social networking, I use Plume (Twitter) and Friendcaster (Facebook). These two are tablet optimized and work out fairly well, actually. News-wise, I use either the BBC app or News 360. There are tons and tons of games that are optimized for tablets. I frequently play Shadowgun or Simpsons...

Can't delete photos in gallery (tried suggestions on here)

I'm sure you actually authorized it when you set up your mobile, it happens when you're in a rush (or the employee at your carrier decided to accept it on your behalf as you stood there waiting for them to configure it). Google+ is one of the few apps that kinda suggests that you upload...

    Pogo Charger arrived today

A floating power supply can be positive or negative, but hasn't a common point. It's basically designed so that it can be attached without causing a short. In other words, there's nothing bad about it. But "with no relation to real ground" means that it isn't a grounding. He was being technical...

Please select email client for ZDA (pop-up window)

"Tablified Market HD" is probably to cause. I was getting more problems out of having it installed than anything else. Some games I play have notifications whenever something happens in-game (eg: when a weapon upgrade is complete, or if there's an in-game update). I don't understand people...

New Nexus 10 owner: noisy touch-to-vibrate

Ah yeah, it can be a bit loud (especially for those with somewhat sensitive hearing, like mine) even with sound completely, utterly muted. I disabled 'vibrate to touch' out of the box, to be honest. I don't really require haptic feedback to know what I'm pressing (especially as I use the...

Google to Launch the New Nexus 10 Tablet at MWC 2013? Quad-Core, GPGPU Inside

Again, this is a rumour. There is absolutely no other data, sans this article, that mentions this. Secondly, neither mine or a friend (whom I convinced to buy a Nexus 10) are having reboots. Yes, it happens to people. No, it doesn't happen to everybody. It's obviously something on the OS level...

    amoled?

I never said they "sucked"; but, you won't find me using one frequently. I have both a S3 and a Note II. Their displays are great, yet the colours aren't what I would consider 'nice' - this is due to the high contrast. What would you consider the Nexus 10, then? You're using the adjective...

Google to Launch the New Nexus 10 Tablet at MWC 2013? Quad-Core, GPGPU Inside

About five to seven months, tops. Technology moves faster than a ten month refresh cycle. If the hardware is there and development proceeds the actual launch of the Nexus 10, even my suggestion is laughable. Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk HD
