A factory reset should put it back to how it was out the box, you can back up your existing apps if you want to keep them. At the reset page it gives you the option to keep your photos so you won't lose them. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

Yes after learning install wake lock detector on mine it was constantly waking the phone, all it does anyway is stuff you can do yourself so no great loss. Most battery saving apps do more harm than good IMHO Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
