B Diddy's suggestion worked for me - flashing the stock rom using Odin. It is however a complete reinstall so you will be starting from scratch with your tablet.

Re: Email Not Syncing - Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Thanks B.Diddy for the suggestion but this didn't work either. If this was my laptop, I would now be doing a complete install of the operating system. Is there any way of doing that with Android, or even just reinstalling the stock email app?

Sorry for gatecrashing but I too have the same problem after a firmware update. I have tried everything including factory resets both from Settings and the Recovery boot menu. From a reset the email app opens at email account set up but when I finish setting up my account it then freezes. It...
