I've had Google TV for years

Google TV is useful for someone who doesn't want to switch their input when they move between tv and web. Someone that wants to be able to see the game while they look up a stat. Someone that doesn't want to connect and disconnect their laptop every time they want to use it. It's not for...

    Revue Framerate

I'm watching Sunday Night Football through mine and everything is fine. I wonder if there was something going on in the background of yours that was effecting it? Next time you have the problem, try a soft reboot (ctrl+alt+del) and see if it improves after the reboot. If it doesn't, perhaps it's...

    DLNA Capabilities

I've watched a number of shows and movies now via DLNA from my NAS running Twonky. It has worked great, the files look as good as they do from an attached USB drive or on the computer itself. I've heard that others are streaming from their Windows 7 machines without problem. I think search works...

Sony NSZ-GT1 plays movie files at the wrong aspect ratio.

Do the files play at 16:9 on your computer? Perhaps they have sidebars encoded into the video, so the TV is playing it at 16:9, and you're seeing a 4:3 video with black sidebars attached.

Sharing Sony TV's wireless network connection with Dish DVR via Ethernet?

If you are looking to have a Logitech Revue and a Dish DVR on the same setup, then the DVR will be connected via ethernet, and the Revue can either be connected via wireless, or through ANOTHER ethernet cable, so two ethernet connections would be required. Though Dish says the preferred Revue...

I've watched a bunch of stuff streamed from my NAS over DLNA and it has worked well. Hope your's is a success as well!

    Google TV is the G1

I'm enjoying the DLNA as well, far superior to the DLNA support that is in my Samsung TV.

    Could this replace my cable?

I have a Logitech Revue, and I don't have cable or satellite. Currently I can't watch TV through the Revue, but there are options. As explained here, you can use an external tuner box to watch your over the air channels through the Revue. Unfortunately it adds to your costs, but it's still...

    Google TV + gapless playback??

I'm watching shows through DLNA right now on my Logitech Revue, and when one show ends, the next in the folder immediately starts playing. Is that what you are referring to?

Glad to hear it's working better! I get mine tomorrow, can't wait to run it through it's paces.

Picked up the Sony Blu-ray with Google TV yesterday

Can you go to Whats My User Agent? and tell us what the full user agent string is? This would be useful for those of us with websites that want to set a custom theme for Google TV visitors.

Who plans on getting google tv?

I ordered mine through Logitech and they said it will ship on the 21st. I'd think Amazon would start shipping the same day.

Google TV has a new website

If you don't have cable or satellite, then you'll need to hold onto your TiVo to act as the tuner in your setup. I do wish the Revue had a tuner!

Who plans on getting google tv?

For tech-savy geeks that enjoy maintaining an HTPC (I used to) you are probably right. Google TV brings most of the same benefits to the rest.

    Google TV STB Integration

You're looking at this too hard. Google only knows about Dish Networks internal system (and even there I think they only care about the DVR recordings), all the others it has almost no idea about. In the setup, I'm sure you tell it if you have OTA/Cable/Satellite, and which service, and it then...
