I realize charging phones on computers isn't the best way of charging devices, but I noticed the battery percentage actually dropping while plugged in for awhile(half hour+) before beginning to slowly recharge(yes all apps closed on phone and screen off). Could be just inaccuracy on the battery...

As a 4 year iPhone user, this is my first try at android. Choose Nexus because of upgrade reasons, hate the fragmentation horror stories lol. I agree the default music player sucks but try out the Poweramp app, much better player imo. Now...if only they can somehow fix the music volume...

Same issue I have. My old iPhone 4 is around double the volume, hopefully it can be fixed by software and not a hardware issue.

Very nice device overall. Very fast and battery life is good imo. The only major con I see is the horrible speaker design. In my experience, the alarm didn't wake me because the sound got extremely muted with the phone laying on its back. Also, volume levels are low compared to my iphone 4(yes...

N4 are known to get very hot, anandtech had to put one in a freezer bag to complete benchmark tests.

Yep, wait a bit then return it. Second batch of phones may even have the possible thermal throttling issues fixed:)

I think I'm going to hold out on the N4 until I read some final product reviews first. I was going to order it on the 13th until I heard of the thermal throttling/heat issues/nasty battery life on anandtech's site. Pretty sad when all the other phones can perform those tests with no problems...

It all varies, I had an iPhone4 that lasted a month and quit working(didn't drop it or anything, just quit working). My replacement lasted almost 2 years, no problem and battery also still good.
