I tried using a goo.im ROM from ROM Manager and it didn't have anything google. it was the codename android rom

Are you using clockwork? My recovery is teamwin. Also, i use ROMtool box and the roms i download from there never seem to work. They always say failed error flashing zip file. - - - Updated - - - Cyanogen

Based on the scenario it could be water or heat damage. but unless you actually dropped in water at any point in time, it isn't water damage. Also on the GS3, there is 2-3 spots for them to check for water damage. unlike older phones there was only one. People would damage the side without the...
