I think its ICS. I have a Toshiba thrive with a version of the rooted ICS and I have aquired an acer a100 with a stock ICS for testing. Both have the same problems with Chromecast. The HBO apps is hit or miss. Google Play is hit or Miss but it never stays connected for long. I think its an ICS...
