That happened when I got my s8. There is a setting in the settings somewhere that let's you reload or refresh the messages.

This would probably be a question for that app's support. But if I would guess I would say that it means your sd card isn't working properly.

Literally tap the speaker icon when in a call. If it's not worming, you're either in Bluetooth mode, your speaker is turned down, or your speaker is broke.

Google maps has been borked since like last year. There used to be an option for 'play nav over bluetooth or phone speaker' but they've since removed it, and only play over Bluetooth. However in any car I've had, the voice just does not play over Bluetooth no matter what.
