I have this issue in the email app only. I find it to be super annoying but don't know how to get rid of it. UPDATE: I changed the text from HTML to Plain Text and that helped a lot. Didn't entirely eliminate the problem but definitely made the email app more usable.

This phone is a beast. Extremely underrated. Battery last all day with heavy use, screen is amazing camera is really good but UI is wonky and it's the fastest phone I have seen or owned. As someone mentioned, this is getting JB soon and then it will somehow be faster and better.

Completely agree with Jas. I get all day battery life with no Eco mode, brightness at 75%. I also turned off LTE. When I do need to charge it, it charges very quickly. This phone is a horse and I can't wait for this phone to get JB.

Try going into settings > Developer Options > background process limit (change to 1 or 2). Also check the Don't Keep Activities box right about the background process option. I found this made all the difference. You have to check it once a day because sometimes it switches back to standard but...

Drummer7: Are you saying to update the profile and PRL and to uncheck auto retrieve? Or that if you update profile and PRL you don't need to uncheck auto retrieve? Please advise as I am having all the same problems as everyone else and it's brutal.

Is anyone with the leaked version able to take screenshots with the volume down + power button? It doesn't work for me. Otherwise, ICS is so much better and faster and the battery efficiency is marked.
