doh! i forgot to run the sdk manager and install all the platforms. got it up and running. thanks for all your help! much appreciated.

no worries! ehhh that folder is empty for me. I'm assuming i didn't download or unzip correctly. I'm gonna restart from scratch and try again.

thanks for posting this! i got up to adb devices but it said adb is not recognized as an internal or external command...

since the new sdk for gingerbread has been released i figured i'd ask how the heck to get it up and running. i've been doing everything using root explorer on my phone and i'd like to start using adb commands. could someone walk me through setting it up or point me to the right place? thanks!
