I have a Galaxy S4 SCH-i545 (Android 5.0.1) with a wifi connection that is consistently extremely weak (standing in front of router won't give a full signal). I have ruled out these possible problems: 1) Router is fine. My wife has the same model S4 and it works fine. Other devices work fine...
