yeah - sure i do that. but working in a big company taking their wifi is no option. registring and everything... so at the moment I handle by turning off sync. then it is in control - but i need to manually check for mails - still get messages from whatsapp and alike. weird and overall...

Hehe, do i now? For me mp3 player is a mayor function. If this experience is overall crappy compared to iphone, i am foing to change again. All cool features (especially widgets, which are awesome and would be missed already) cant make up for a good mp3 player for me. I, m going to play...

@iCrank, I see - funny - was eyeballing marleys before myself. but they don't offer the functionality of the remote control / mic - do they? for me the iphone was serving 2 main purposes: - communication (all sorts) - mp3 player (daily use) many other things as well, but far less important...

facebook & qtorrent (never had any torrent in by now) deinstalled 2h ago - still standard data app: android os 5.9mb my data: android sys + OS services = 5MB i'll go nuts! especially as this useless activity will also eat away the battery on top of causing extra charges...

hi Funky, well - that's the point. I see the biggest spenders - far ahead is "Android OS" - and I don't know what it is doing all the time. All the others seem reasonable compared to what I used them for.

thanks drmaf894c, but that would mean these apps (facebook, email, etc) don't account for themselves in the data usage overview - but in the Android System & OS Services. If that would be the case - the overview by app is nonsense :P
