This icon appeared in the status bar on my Pixel 7 yesterday. I've never seen it before. The next day it was gone. What does it mean?

I resolved my problem: When the phone strength icon has an exclamation point on it, it means that I have disallowed data when making calls, but I can still make and receive calls. When the exclamation point does not appear, it means that I have allowed data when making calls.

Under Contacts... "Dave" has one cellphone number listed; "Dave's Gmail" has one gmail address listed; "Dave's House" has one landline listed and "Home" has one landline listed. Nothing except "Home" has the word listed when I look at my individual contacts. Hope this helps!
