My wife will soon be immigrating to Canada and she needs a new phone. This would be perfect for her.

This happened to me yesterday, after updating my HTC Sync software, but I was also having USB issues at the time, so it could have been related to that. At any rate, I restarted the computer with the phone still connected - started the Sync software later and it ran fine. just a hiccup.

That was a huge help for me. I recently added some circles in Google+ that I follow, and now my contacts list has hundreds of people I'll never phone. I unchecked Google. There's probably a better way but that worked for me.
