Cube does not have lock screen controls. That's my biggest complaint about it.

That would really depend on whether your monitor supports USB 2.0. Most likely it does. If you don't get any annoying pop-ups from Windows then you're fine. I know that with my keyboard if I use it's extra USB port a pop-up comes up and says there isn't sufficient power. Most likely you're fine.

I really like 3 (cube). It works well and has a fun UI. I have problems with album art still, but it's much better than the stock player.

Are you using a BB charger or a BB branded USB cable? I'm referring to a usb cable. I looked at the specs of my wife's BB Storm charger last night and it outputs 700mah. Whereas the wall adapter that came with the DInc ouputs 1000mah (1 amp). I agree that something else has to be going on...

Yes, you can buy those adapters pretty cheap. When I bought my Jawbone Prime a year ago it came with the same thing. I just looked at it and it's only rated at 550mah. I've honestly never used it because I just keep the usb cable hooked up to my work laptop. You can find links to the adapter...

It's only charging at 500mah which is .5 amps. The wall adapter that came with the phone is rated at 1 amp. So naturally it's going to take longer to charge (twice as long). I have the exact same setup you're talking about but I don't think it takes that long. Usually I'd be around 65-70%...

Just for the record. I carry my phone with confidence. I also use a body glove and holster it on my belt.

Correction, I just read the post with the 1.8. You DON'T need to restart.

Download the zip to your sd card. Reboot into recovery and choose "install zip from sd". Find the zip and install it. The restart the phone. Not sure if you need to clear the cache or not, but I would just in case.

I use my old BB USB cable for my desk. Works great when I just need to do a short charge while I'm listening to music. Is that an option for you?

Great writeup jmcsmith. Glad to see you got rooted and rommed and are enjoying everything. I wish I could run the CM6 mod but I use my camera WAY too much. Once that's fixed, I'm all over it.

My fiance's BB Storm just crapped out on her. She needed a phone for her commute, so she took my Incredible. Now I'm phone-less. I feel so awkward now without a phone. I may have to actually do work at my job to stay busy instead of download apps and roms.
