Find any text box, press and hold, select input method and choose swype.

Did you make sure to extract the zip into C:\ ? Basically in Windows Explorer you should be seeing "AC-SWM" on your disk. If not, you can open the .zip again and copy the AC-SWM directory from it into your C:\

Make sure you don't close the warning about not letting apps outside the market to be installed

There was a typo in my guide (which I now corrected), but put a space between pull and /, so it's adb pull /data/data/com.swype.android.installer/files/mypackage.apk ./mypackage.apk

1) You cannot hide the AT&T apps, unfortunately, unless you root the device and remove them. 2) The AT&T barcode scanner is fine, but I prefer this one: Barcode Scanner

Press and hold an empty area on the home screen to bring up the Personalize menu. Then tap "Widgets", then the "Settings" entry. There will be airplane mode there as well as everything else.

The girl at Costco did it for me just fine. When she set up the phone, she had to change me to the $25 limited plan, but she made a phonecall to AT&T, talked to the proper people, filed a case for me, and my unlimited plan will be put back into effect shortly. She said she does it all the time.

I'm in the Detroit area and the day I got my Inspire (a day early, thanks to Costco) I had HSPA+ the second it was turned on.

Well I knew the adb trick because you can install basically anything via adb. However, the part about the downloaded package during the install I found on the FAQ of the Swype forums, because I had no idea what the path was where the temporary file was created. I just did it on my Inspire last...

M-59 and Garfield. The one off 75 didn't have them yet but I was out on the other side of town and did a random stop to see if they had any and they did. I went in expecting not to find any so it was cool.
