I have updated every app except Chrome because I was having the known email issue. Maybe that won't occur now that I am on Oreo? I will look into that and see what happens.

I have not been in any different areas than normal. Basically work and home. My home doesn't get great cell signal but I have lived there five years and didn't have this issue prior to upgrading to Oreo. I am at a loss.

I no longer receive Gmail notifications after updating to Nougat over the weekend. I have to open the Gmail app to see if I have email. Has anyone else experienced this? I am using an HTC10 on Verizon.

Fixed it. Reselected my icon pack within my launcher. Went back to the Twitter bird icon.

That must have something to do with it. I wonder if it mucked up my icon set within my launcher?

My Twitter icon mysteriously changed to one with a black lightning bolt. Has anyone else had this happen and know how to change it back? Screen shot below...

It isn't exclusive to Samsung. I have an HTC 10 and am having the issue as well. I had two GPS coordinates saved for my home plus the map location already there. I disabled the map location and deleted one of the GPS locations. Going to see if that helps when I get home.

Is there a way to increase the text message alert sound without increasing the volume of the ringer for phone calls on the HTC10? I am using Message+ (Verizon Messages) as my SMS app and haven't been able to find a way to do this from within the app settings. I can hardly hear my text alerts...
