    International Galaxy Note 8 in US

    Looks like T-Mobile are now utilising the 1900Mhz band in select places in the US, so (fingers crossed) the international version will work* on 4G. *Hello* phone calls and 4G on T-Mobile and Note 8 in the US!

    That's interesting. How can I know when and where the 1900 MHz band is activated? I live in Los Angeles and have an international Galaxy S2 on T-Mobile which has the 1900MHz band but no 1700Mhz band so only getting Edge speeds. Can I find out if/when it's due to happen in LA anytime soon?

    How do you know it will work on T-Mobile? The specs for the Galaxy Note 8 state: Network: HSPA+ 21Mbps (850/900/1900/2100) To my knowledge T-Mobile require both 1700 & 2100 MHz to work at HSPA+ speeds.

The Galaxy Note 8 specs state This means that it won't be able to run on HSPA+ for T-Mobile because T-Mobile require both 1700 MHz and 2100 MHz UMTS AWS. i.e. you need to have both frequencies supported.
