turning the animation off doesn't fix the problem of it freezing, just makes the phone run a bit quicker.

i was having exact same problem was such a punish but it fixed itself magically dont know how.. that was after 2 factory resets and upgrading firmware to 4.1.2 So hopefully yours will magically fix itself. been working exactly how it should be now and i can use it with confidence again going...

mine seems to come and go. the video you posted kind of seems what happens like it freezes and stuff is still running in the background it seems.

i have noticed mine is freezing again still no as much as previous times , still having to reboot phone each time it does. As waiting for it to fix takes too long or never does unfreeze

my problem was happening whilst on 4.1.1 and also 4.1.2 try one more format maybe ? turn all animations off in your developer options? and hope for the best .. if mine comes back im gonna send it back under warranty
