    Sounds like it is in Driving Mode. I had the same thing happen to me, it was announcing incoming emails and SMS's. In Notification Center swipe to the end and deactivate Driving Mode.

    If they changed the color on the back cover the front of the would still be Pebble Blue. I think it is a false rumour.
