Aha! I just installed the Android messaging app the other day and have been seeing this same thing as well. I came here looking for a solution. I really hadn't thought of that app being the culprit since it's official Android stuff. Bu bye Android messaging. :-) Back to MightyText.

Re: "Running apps" removed in Marshmallow? WHY? Answers like this are what drive me nuts about the state of software development the last few years. It simply shouldn't matter if it's more or less efficient to normally shut down programs yourself or to let the automated system do it...

Just an FYI. There's an app in the play store called "Samsung Log Converter" that someone created to fix this very thing. Works perfectly.

Well, I'm on my 3rd galaxy that has this problem. The front side of the check is rarely a problem. The back side actually focuses and then DE-focuses right as it takes the pic. I had this problem on my S4, S5, and now a Note 4. I have 3 different bank accounts I do this with - Bank of America...

I've heard this argument several times. What exactly is the phone so capable of doing while it is locked? Calling someone? Sending someone a text message? Making an appointment on the calendar? Taking a note? I just don't get it. You can't unlock the phone with OK Google. The lock screen remains...
