Same thing here, although I'm not on a MAC. I can pair to windows 7 computer but it says not connected and when I check device manager, it says missing BT peripheral. But I can still transfer files to the device. Not sure what's going on but it's not too important since I can just plug it in via...

Didn't have an OG droid so I can't compare, but for me it is plenty loud and everything is clear and crisp. External speaker could be a little louder but I don't have a problem with it since I use it when it's not too busy around and keep the volume around 75% anyways.

Same here, even after I figured out it was a clock and having my gf tell me that it looked like a clock rather than a box with a check mark. It still looks like a box with a check mark to me. :confused: As for the launcher, I haven't tried anything else yet. I find my content with the stock one...

They are 2 separate speakers I believe.
