i had the same issues with loosing 4g signal on 2 replacement phones. tech support were able to push updates to my phones that fixed that problem on both on them. i was told to turn the phone off, take out battery and sim card for 5 min and after everything worked. give it a try, it seemed...

i had the exact same issue with a replacement rezound few weeks ago, call tech dept and ask them to push an update to your phone. they did it to me, i took battery and sim out for 5 min, in the meantime they pushed the update and 10 min later the problem was fixed. semms to be a known issue...

i decided to call verizonsupport to ask about global features and was told that 4G sim card has GSM capability and should be working in 3G mode overseas once the mode is switched to Global or GSM. It's quite possible that the rep had no idea what she was talking about and there's no way to...

just tried this with my old verizon sim card and it is not working. i tried it in different modes but none of them worked. it is possible that verizon deactivated this sim card when i switched from phones from blackberry to rezound, since active t-mobile sim card was working fine. i'm waiting...

update: phone was working fine for 5-10 min, including sms. After that mobile connection was lost, looks like it is being disabled after a short period of time.. and now it's back again, weird

just tried this with t-mobile sim card and it works fine once u switch into gsm mode. my guess is that if it works, the sim on the phone is unlocked... why the hell would verizon or htc hide that the phone has gsm radios built in and it's a globla phone (3G global)???

i'm wondering what would happen if u put in verizon gsm sim card? maybe i will try that, still have my old gsm sim from global storm2 blackberry.
