Its supposed to 'condition' them so you more accurate battery readings and supposed life; but as Lakers said ^ there really isnt a need with newer LiON batteries.

Have yet to get my S3 - but Im coming from a Galaxy Nexus so ive done my fair share of rooting/romming. Is there a need to still worry about the IMEI number disappearing with these newer nightlies? That was never an issue on the Nex...Just wanted some background before I root the S3. Thanks all!

there is likely a setting you have to change that says 'MMS Group Chat' or 'Convert to group chat' something along those lines - that should keep the messages in their own thread. At least there is in GO SMS (Under Send settings)

GoSMS Pro also works well for group messages. Stock doesnt.

Just curious, those this is happening to, do you have a music player widet on anyone of your homescreens? If its not affecting you, do you have NO widget on your homescreens?
