You're welcome. My wife and I both have Pixel 4a's, replacing our Blackberry phones. She prefers the 3 button navigation. So I set it up with that. I'm a swipe gesture type so I have mine that way. One size doesn't fit all. So choices are good. We really like our P4a's.... our way.

If you want the 3 button navigation you can go into settings, Accessibility, scroll down to System Navigation. There you choose the 3 button navigation.

Maybe Google didn't feel it was ready for the public release. Not everything that was in A11BETA3 made it into the final release.

There is an update for Messages Beta. Not really sure what is improved or changed. One thing I noticed in the general description is sending messages over wifi. I don't know if that is new or not but I like that feature.

I think we already have the answer to that. We also have the answer to getting bubbles on Messages (if that is important to you). I installed the beta version on my wife's Pixel 4a and she now has bubbles.
