Settings/spen/turn off pen detection. ( if you dont use the pen) Apps/google settings/search & now/voice/ ok google detection/. Off off off. (If you dont use it) This has nothing to do with double tapping home button.

Question is, did you all get a recent update? Mine started right after a update from sprint, i thought it was lollipop so i updated it, but ofcourse it wasnt.

Same problem here, but it happened right after an update. Thru sprint. I.m hopping lollipop fixes the issue. I leave location, bluetooth, off. Also i use power saver mode Would get 2-3 days per charge, now i,m down to 1-2 days. For the original poster, why not use power saver mode...

Well if its possible, they should set the amber alerts to motion, so only if your phone is moving or has motion you receive the amber alert. not sitting still by the night stand. would be a easy fix, just disabled mine too, was also woken up 2am in the morning, over 1 hour away.
