    Unlocked 4a 5G & Verizon (sub-6 access)

Can confirm. Swapped the Verizon SIM from my unlocked P3XL into the unlocked 4a 5G, drove out of my neighborhood, and the 5G symbol popped up. As mentioned, speeds aren't much better than 4G LTE.

Voicemail for 4a 5G on Verizon (not a Verizon phone)

She will in fact get 5G, just not Ultrawide band; unless she is in one of a handful cities where available.

    Screen Protector

Been pretty happy with the AmFilm brand of TGSP's on multiple devices; including the 4a 5G. 3 protectors for right around $10, IIRC. It does have the hole for the front-facing camera.

Voicemail for 4a 5G on Verizon (not a Verizon phone)

Phone by Google is preinstalled. The voicemail icon is the bottom right. It may require set up if not already; I can't comment on that as I have been on the Red V for decades. Hope this helps.

Verizon and the Pixel 4a 5g

WiFi calling is in fact available on Verizon with an unlocked (non UW) 4a 5G. It is $100 cheaper, and does not have mmWave.

What feature/spec will make you upgrade?

P3XL 128GB owner here. Skipped on the P4XL, as (in my mind) there was no compelling reason to make the jump. I would be all in on a P5XL if: 1) 6.5" or larger screen. 2) 5G & WiFi 6 capable. 3) Fingerprint reader. 4) Bigger battery and/or better battery life.

    Email Apps Corrupted?

Thanks to both of you for the information. I was having the same issue with Aqual Mail Pro. This cleared it up.

Just need some suggestion since I just bought my S4😁!

I have always been very happy with Moko brand folios found on Amazon.

    S4 or S5e

I use my tablets for media consumption and surfing. The pen; while a nice added bonus, is not a must-have for me. For me, the S4 is more of a toy than a serious productivity device. The Slate is my go-to, as my needs sound like they are more business-centric than yours; and the Android apps...

    S4 or S5e

I struggled with this same dilemma for weeks. Last weekend, Best Buy had the S4 64gb version on sale for $499, with an additional $100 off for student discount*; netting the price down to $399. This is the same price as the S5e; making it a no-brainer to pick up the S4. *Note: you do NOT need...

Google cutting back on hardware (and Pixelbook) efforts

I feel as though Google has always made these type of devices to showcase their software, and it has made other manufacturers step up their game with higher end units and design. The PB is an amazing device that (I feel) has made Chrome OS more "mainstream" and a viable option for people...

How do I copy a Google Photo image to Clipboard in Android Pie (I have a Pixel 3).

I understand how it works; I was trying to make it clear to the OP.

    How’s the software now?

I was using 2 devices: a PB i5 and a Tab S3. I love Chrome OS on the PB but hate the Samsung interface on the S3, and was looking for a more powerful tablet experience. The added bonuses being a larger screen, a more powerful processor, a better OS, frequent updates, and only one unit to carry...

How do I copy a Google Photo image to Clipboard in Android Pie (I have a Pixel 3).

Interesting. I just tried it on the FB app: Took a screenshot of the thread I was in. Hit "reply", and in the text line tapped the camera icon to the left of the text box. This brought up the Gallery app where the screenshot I just took was. Tapped on the screenshot and attached it to the...

    Trusted Places problem

To clarify: running the AA app on the phone in her car (not a connected screen); a 2015 Nissan Sentra SL connected via bluetooth. I LOVE AA via connected screen in my 2014 CTS VSport. For the most part it works great; except for the fact that SMS audible notifications have been broken for as...
