Yeah, I submitted for the Gear VR & controller, 1st day, approved on 4/27.... Called Samsung on August 11th to see what the deal was, and they said I should have it by now, and they were going to escalate my claim and to expect a phone call from them in 5-7 days. I did not purchase the $99.00...

I have noticed if you turn the screen of via the power button, and unlock the sound comes back, albeit not always permanently...

I just ordered the citron green case for myself after seeing this.... I have been a loyal Spigen guy.... but my son loves UAG... so I figured what the hell. On a side note, I am loving the S8+

I would snap this up if it was offered this way.

There is a restocking fee as everyone said, you might find a rep who lets it slide, but I would not hold your breath...

I can see something like this - S8, S8E (Edge) and the S8SP (S-Pen) and dropping the N and going back to the curve of the N7, including the S8E have a more subtle curve. Who knows, just throwing things at the wall over here... lol.

I have not used one, so I cannot say anything from a hands on experience. Overall I like how it is being marketed, and from what I have read, seen on this phone I think it will be a winner.

Nope, I am a basic guy, and I like the classic black look. Guess I am boring. =)

It is, but not a deal breaker for me.

I think with Samsung stumbling with the Note 7...the timing is ripe for the Pixel to be a moderate success... but alot of people (Non Tech) will still buy a "Galaxy" phone based on reputation, and the enthusiast crowd will try and pick up the 6P second hand or new if it can be found for a while...

6P is a great device!

Yeah, might as well capitalize on Samsung's misfortune. I had a Note 7 from launch day. It was a great phone... but ultimately returned in for a refund. Glad I did not sell my 6P so I had something to use while I wait for the Pixel restock...
