I have not yet figured out the issue with my device. I should've mentioned this earlier, but it seems that I can actually hear the hardware working inside the phone. I can't hear it when it's charging. Just a thought, but could this be a battery problem that's causing the shutdowns? All the best,

UPDATE: My phone is now shutting down on standby. Still the only time the phone doesn't shutdown is while it's connected to the charger. The shutdowns seem to be occurring more frequently now. I did do a factory reset and it didn't help.
