I'm in the same boat, I start pharmacy school next semester. I'm afraid of lag while annotating large pdf and power point files. I've looked into the Surface Pro 2 and One Note and it seems like its exactly what I need, but i'd also rather not spend $1000+. Anyone got any input?

I already mentioned this in another thread, but I recently switched from the HTC One. On an average day (7AM-10PM moderate usage) my HTC One would have about 15% battery by the end of the day. The Motorola X rarely goes under 50%, I did turn off active notifications and touch less controls though.

At 54% with 3 hour screen on time, 15 hours since last charged. No games or anything, just web browsing and etc. I'm amazed by the battery life so far, my HTC One would over heat and be dead by 6pm.
