Getting the Note 8 on Monday.. really new to the whole droid thing... would you use a launcher if you were me? Which one and why?

I was told by someone that if I bought Note 8 AND a Samsung wearable like the Gear Fit2 Pro that I could get a years subscription to MapMyRun and MyFitnessPal is this correct? and if so how do I get the free subscriptions? Thank you! Deb from Phoenix
