It remains to be seen what Lenovo is going to do with the Moto X which makes me leery of buying one. But it is a great phone at a great price the only Android phone I would buy on Verizon.

Did someone say they should be compelled? No. An individual can easily transfer the warranty of an iPhone they sell on Craigslist and they can do it themselves on Apples web site if they are the registered owner. Plenty of other companies allow this as well.

Quality went dramatically downhill at Motorola when they switched manufacturing to China and poor quality with attendant returns, warranty repairs, and loss of sales is one of the reason they have been losing millions for years. It's also why until recently only Verizon carried Motorola phones.

That's still really poor for LTE. I've only used Verizon's LTE but AT&T is supposed to be faster in most places although coverage is not as good.

You are exactly right. As someone who knows iPhones and Android phones intimately this leads to a lot of comments about iPhones that are flat out wrong.

You already turned it into an Apple vs Android thing for no good reason. Wireless charging is not widely used. Apple has said nothing about it, you are quitting what others said about it.
