    Nexus 10 vs Microsoft Surface

The Lenovo Think Pad Tablet 2 starts at only $679 and it runs full Windows 8. With the keyboard accessory, it would certainly be capable of doing just about any "full-fledged" computer stuff you can imagine. It's even lighter than the 4th generation iPad and battery life is around 9-10 hours...

    Why can't I find a Nexus 7 without screen lift issues ?

Sorry to hear you had so much trouble. I like Apple's stuff too, I love my MacBook Air, Mac OS X is fantastic, but iOS doesn't excite me. Luckily my Nexus 7 doesn't have this "screen lift" problem, or any other issues.

Are your N7's still Buttery Smooth?

It never really was "buttery smooth" but 4.2 seemed to make it a little worse for some reason. If I really cared about buttery smoothness, I would have gotten an iPad since Android is never going to match it for UI smoothness no matter what promises Google makes. I'm OK with that though, for...

What is the thing you dislike about the Nexus 7 the most?

Maybe the rear-facing speaker. Overall I love this thing, but it would be nicer for watching movies and playing games if the speaker, you know, actually faced in the direction of the person trying to listen to it. I don't really want to wear headphone all the time.

    Nexus 7 or Nexus 10?

This is a great point. I had a miserable experience with an Android that left such a bad taste in my mouth that I swore off Android for a year. Now I have a Windows Phone, which I love, but I wanted a tablet. The low cost of entry and the confidence of having a Nexus device free of OEM garbage...

Was your Nexus 7 defective or in Perfect condition?

Perfect. No problems since day one. Easily the best $249 I've ever spent. Nearly every day I'm amazed at the value this thing represents.

    Really?

Was your computer $199? No? I didn't think so. So you don't need to call the Nexus 7 garbage just because it didn't allow you to play a movie through USB to HDMI. Talk about First World Problems.

Was your Nexus 7 defective or in Perfect condition?

Mine is perfect. 32 GB wi-fi version, purchased in-store about a month ago. No defects, no problems whatsoever with it.

Nexus 4 now, or wait for the Nexus 5?

Nope, just my experience with the Revolution. That and I've run into lots of other people who think LG quality is questionable. Considering keeping the price as low as possible on the Nexus 4 was a priority doesn't give me any more confidence in it. Just my two cents. The N4 might be a great...

    Nexus 7 .vs Nexus 10

Of course. I've love to have better speakers. The rest I don't care about. I never use the cameras on my tablet. Performance? Well I can play all the games I want to on the N7, I'm not sure what more performance would do for me. Maybe if I had an app that could really benefit from it. As far as...

Nexus 4 now, or wait for the Nexus 5?

I have a 920 too, and I think you know the truth is you aren't going to find hardware half as nice as this on the Android side of the fence. I like Android too and Jellybean seems like a huge improvement over the past versions of it. But you couldn't pay me to buy another LG phone. An LG...

Are you rooted? Why or why not?

No, because I have a Nexus device and see no reason to root'

When will the media and public's love affair with the iPhone end?

Apple didn't invent the "game" of holding back features for later models to help sell new devices and they aren't the only one who plays it. I'm fan of Apple's desktop OS, but not so much of iOS. I think much of the "love affair" with Apple stems from the fact that aside from their gift of...

Reasons why Blackberry is Better than IOS or Android?

Eh, I'd say the early Nokia Communicator phones in the mid 1990s were the first real smartphones. Simon was never really a mainstream product that sold in any meaningful numbers. I had a Palm 180g and I remember that being pretty extraordinary back in 2002... It had a browser and the 180g model...

Reasons why Blackberry is Better than IOS or Android?

Mmm.. I had a Blackberry once. The only thing I really liked about it was the speed and precision with which I could type on the physical keyboard. I still miss that from time to time, though the touch keyboards on my Lumia 920 and Nexus 7 are both excellent and compared with the Blackberry, I...
