If you're looking to go all out, get an unlocked Galaxy Nexus. OTA updates straight from Google and definitely some major long-time support. I have a Sprint branded GNex and still get great support, but the Unlocked GSM variant gets everything first. Good luck!

I'm also getting intermittent data. I love the ROM, but the data issues are the only thing keeping me from making this my daily ROM. I tried the instructions given in the OP, but to no avail. Any other tips and tricks? Thanks for the great work on this ROM. :)

Here are the bugs I've encountered during the testing of this ROM. The settings menus seem to be screwed up on some of the apps, Google Voice for example, and the Android Central Forum app. They are black and you can't see a lot of the text unless you highlight the menu option you want to read...
