Sorry to dredge up an old thread, but after being a loyal HTC user from the One Max to the 10, I jumped ship to the Samsung Galaxy S10+. HTC's hit-or-miss quality, broken update promises, et cetera made it an easy choice to move on.
It's secretly scanning your brain, sifting through your memories. It's the same as parsing your browser history, only more damning. :D
Seriously, I haven't seen it do this before. But I'll keep my eyes peeled. Something must be triggering it.

Nope. The 10 is still a solid performer and fits my lifestyle nicely. I'm locked in with it for at least another year.
Assistant showed up on my phone just before a recent trip to New Orleans. I'm glad it did. It made getting around the French Quarter way more convenient (as in getting the answers I needed without putting my drink down).
The only bug I encountered with the original update was occasional lagging in connecting to wifi. I haven't seen it anymore with the last two updates. Bluetooth has been solid throughout.
There have been a number of server-side updates that opened access to several additional services. Integration with IFTTT is also available. It's still a work in progress, but there has been progress nonetheless.
