Nope after factory reset it is still not letting me hang up on people I phone or people who phone me. Going to take it to the shop. Must be something wrong with the handset.

Yes using the phone button not what's app, Skype or any other app. Going to try factory reset and see if that helps. If not I will take the phone into team know how at carphone warehouse to see if they know. Thank you all for you help, I just about got the technical terminology lol.

The safe mode option does not allow me to make or receive phone calls so it is hard to see if this problem is resolved.

This is not the case with my phone. My screen does not react to anything. I have to press and hold the power key for it to bring the screen back to life. When I phoned my voicemail earlier I couldn't hang up because the screen disappeared completely. I had to try and turn it off. It has only...

I too am having this problem since updating my pixel 3. Quite annoying especially if trying to hang up from voicemail. Not a good update.
