Sorta. I never use "auto", always set to highest brightness setting yet the screen occasionally dims for a few mins before going to to its regular setting... , and almost has me ready to swap it out permanently for my N2.

MMS requires a data signal to send receive.

Odd, I've never had a problem with pictures with wifi only. Use a couple old phones as gaming devices, both have old inactive sims and a Google number. Wifi only and can send/receive no problem.

Do you have internet access? I'm guessing no. What phone are you using? I ask because most Verizon devices aren't GSM "compatible", which is what AT&T phones are.

I guess I should of clarified, you need an AT&T sim in the phone in order to download the update via OTA.

Yes. It's an AT&T update so you have to be on their network.
