Re: Who else predicts doom and gloom for the Galaxy Note 5? I agree. I loved the screen on my husbands Nexus 6. I thought for sure Samsung would bump the screen size. 5.9 would be nicer for writing notes on. But there is nothing compelling in Note 5 and I am thinking of picking up Note 4...

Actually he was right, the Original Galaxy Note 10.1 came out in August 2012 and the Note 8.0 came out in April 2013. As for the new 8.0, I wonder if they are waiting for Android L? Its been a really long time not to have a refresh.
