Oddly enough i got my second column back. I tried removing some apps off the remaining column after i rebooted the phone. And when I went to put a new app back in one of the empty spots the 2nd column appeared again. Not sure if it will work for anyone else but thats what happened with my phone.

Ive had this issu myself. and tried everything i can think of short of resetting phone. did that work for you ?
