I do not have anything to clear. Is there a more complete way to reset than using factory reset in settings?

A few days ago my phone (Oneplus 8T 128gb) started saying that the storage was running out. I checked and the system folder was 84gb, i then deleted some apps and photos(about 4gb). A little later i get the same warning. Then my system folder was 88gb. I factory reset my phone and recovered it...
