I just spent all afternoon on the Nexus 7(again). I also own an iPad, but now it just sits there. My daughter is going to take the iPad to college, since I won't be missing it.

It's a smart move(Know your competition). Other CEO's do this. Ford's CEO drives a variety of competitive cars. Unfortunately for RIM its RIP.
