This is incorrect. nRom has been updated to be compatible with the VC update. There is also VC Rom and another one that was released today. This thread is supposed to be about tRom though, which from what I read is also in the process of being updated. :)

mine does too. maybe it is just a setting in the v5 rom. oh well--at least we have a rom! & i tried that mes3, still the market freezes when i try to install. thanks again for the VC rom. :]

are you getting the ota request too since flashing v 5??

did you try holding down the input box and selecting input method then android keyboard??? I had the same problem a while back and it was just that the input wasn't changed for handcent..
