    how were you able to get 3g? i can make calls, send and receive text. i have the right apn because i tried it on another android. did you use a rom? my droid 3 is unlocked.

    if you are rooted, just unroot. you wont have any problems. if verizon cannot turn the phone on, they will also replace it because they cannot prove it is rooted.

    if it is rooted and you cannot restore it. you can always do an sbf restore using rsdlite

    the guides say you should back up first. if so then just restore.. you can always just do a factory restore

    i havent really had any battery problems after the update. I once had a problem with the phone not charging my battery once totally drained, but no big issue
