Hey DXC, I ended up just flashing back up to SupahClean 2.8 update 1 (just released) and back to Voodoo Kernel. We will see how the battery life holds up, so far not a single force close in 5 hours post flashing.

I am about to drop back to Eclair. I have lost data network connectivity via the cell modem and I ended up buying a 3000mah battery to get me through a single 12 hour off charge. Pretty pathetic and 2.2 isn't even all that much faster or better...

Had a random lock up on my device tonight running 2.6 with the JT voodoo kernel for eb16 and now I have no Data service via Cell Modem. *228 isn't reactivating my phone either.

Without you and Adranalyn, I was about to smash this phone and buy something else. Now I absolutely love this device!

Looks like the new modem fixed my connection issues! FINALLY I have consistent 3g at my house.

Adranalyne, does your ROM work via CMW-Red? I wasn't able to install the .zip as it said the directory wasn't valid. I flashed update.zip to get CWM green and up it went.

We don't enforce a PIN, yet Droid consistently forces me to make one. My 4 digit PIN works as all previous build did.

That is correct. Likely you will be forced to do a stepped upgrade approach, if VZW and Samsung release this build to the masses.

You can always flash back to DL01 and then do OTA. This is available on the forum.

Do you have the .apk, or how do I snag said fix?
