Verified working on new S10 + Edge lighting is rotating around the screen in Orange, since that's the color I selected to indicate text messages.

Like I said, it's really not very user friendly. Best thing to start is to choose how the app starts. Do that by selecting "When notification comes". Selecting that will open up the option to set individual colors and edge lighting for your apps.
