    The Moto X (XT1548) CDMA model is the only one that would work well on Verizon. Right now the XT1540 is the only one being offered at the Motorola website for sale. If you look at the spec sheet on the website you'll see the model numbers listed - here is a copy and paste: Bands (by model)...

    The CDMA version would work well on Verizon but the weakest band would be the 4G - the 2G and 3G would be fine. I don't think you can buy the phone from Virgin unless you have service with them...I wound up going for the Nexus 6P which like the Moto x pure works almost anywhere...

    The problem is that Motorola is only selling the KT1540 (GSM unlocked) model and they will not give an estimate of when the KT1548 (CDMA unlocked) will become available. Of course, the Moto X pure will connect with everything and they probably have the brainstorm that if you have difficulty...
