    Why can't I enable Home or Work as trusted places with Smart Lock?

    Smart lock does not work for me when two user accounts are set on the device as the feature can only be turned on in one account. Attempting to turn on Smart lock in one account results in smart lock being turned off in the other.

    Take a look at MyPhoneExplorer which has a great tool to back up files, SMS and other things onto your PC.

    Syncing N4 & Outlook

    I like Outlook and sync both my business and personal email, calendar and contacts with my Nexus just fine using MyPhoneExplorer.

    If you have used MyPhoneExplorer (as I mentioned above) then your contacts would be on your PC (or the cloud).

    MyPhoneExplorer will do all this for you (and lots more) and is a free app.

    16 gigs is just way too small, I don't want to put stuff on the cloud.

    On a trip to Australia I was running low on space (16Gb) due to photos. I have my music in FLAC (lossless format) which doesn't help. Anyone using a Wifi harddrive which seems to be the answer for those of us who need more space?

    One annoying omision is the facility to set a sync when loaded. IE when you first log in or boot your PC.

    Not had a single problem using my Nexus 4 with my Bluetooth speaker in the car.

    My PhoneExplorer is a mature and free app that will do this easily.

    NFC tags don't work in sleep or lock state, then repeatedly if attached to dock. Non-Root Fix?

    I've just discovered that tags cannot be read from a locked phone. Rooting or leaving the phone permanently on is not for me so I won't be using my tags.

    Problem sending SMS with Nexus 4 - Hangs at 'Sending'

    I've had exactly the same sending problem with my Nexus (stock SMS app). A reboot and I was able to send again. I've also had exactly the same problem with the Email app. In this case the sent email was "saved as draft" rather than being sent.
