Tried the long press on the data icon and it does bring me there but no prompt. I'm going to do a reset and see what happens. I think the Android programmers never thought someone'd want the prompt back, so there's no re-enable option for it. I honestly think that. Thanks.

Yep. I actually reset it maybe 3 or 4 times over the course of looking around and trying different things.

I guess it'd be the Contacts app. When I open the contacts screen it usually, but not always for some reason, shows the Recents tab. I can see how this would be useful if I only called a few people but with work I call a lot of different people.
